The reason is just physics of area. Is the SOLIS + COR + Mount Driving Package cheaper than buying separately?
No. The bundle costs $349 more than buying the two components on their own — and Slate does not explain what the difference buys.
This is the single most-searched thing about this product line, and the answer is counterintuitive enough that it’s worth doing the arithmetic in public:

That strongly suggests the intended use case is off-grid power rather than range extension. - Job sites and remote work. Charging tool batteries, running a small compressor, powering a laptop and a hotspot from the bed.

Read that table honestly and the recommendation for most buyers falls out of it: a conventional tonneau plus a Level 2 wall charger.
